Metal Beetle

This huge metal beetle is located at Flower Park Fiore Kobuchisawa in Yamanashi Prefecture. The park also has a huge insect museum displaying tons of butterflies and beetles from all over the world. It's about 2 or 3 hours outside of Tokyo, well worth a visit if you can make it out there.

The Riseman features an altimeter, barometer, thermometer, a few alarms, world time, etc. Perfect for camping, outdoors, and travels.

Painting With Dehara

Bwana and I visited Dehara other day, where we each painted Dehara's Satoshi-kun figure. It was pretty fun painting together, kinda felt like kids in art class. After painting, we traded figures and got stuffed at a nearby izakaya (Japanese bar/restaurant). The figures from left to right: Satoshi-kun by Bwana, Koji by Dehara, Kappa Hunter Satoshi-kun by Koji, and Bwana by Dehara.
