Gargamel Gargamess
I painted this tonight. Blue, dark brown, and silver, on a rakugaki blue Gargamel Gargamess figure. Turned out ok, but I'm not completely satisfied with the head. Maybe the brown there on his forehead?

Ramp House
It rained today (and Thrash Out is closed on Wednesdays), so we went to the Ramp House. The Ramp House is a small indoor skate park in Tokorozawa, about an hour or so from Tokyo. They have several steel covered mini ramps on two floors. Two and a half hours costs a thousand yen. Had a fun time and sweat a whole lot. That's Gargamel Yutaka tail tappin' and me fifty fiftyin'.

Kaiju Kollision Leftovers
I got the remaining figures from Kaiju Kollision today. Of the 53 figures I did for the show, Deathra (shown), Bemlar, Manda, Rodan, and a glow Godzilla did not sell. I like Rodan best. He glows bright, and the vinyl shines through the neon red and yellow paint. I have no space for these so if anybody is interested, all are available for sale. Everything is discounted as well. Please check my Flickr photos for close-ups, prices, and details.

Toy Shelves
Got a few shelves semi-arranged. Biskup kaiju have taken over one shelf, big and little Pollards, Dragamels, and Gamagons. I'm not satisfied with this arrangement yet. And some cyborgs on a smaller shelf, Denys Fisher, Takara Henshin Cyborg Invaders, and Shonen Cyborgs. Denys Fisher Cyborgs are so cool...
Arranging Toys
Been setting up toy displays recently, but getting everything set up has been tough. I have way more toys that shelf space. Most of my vinyl stuff is out, but yet to displayed properly. It's difficult getting everything together in a nice arrangement. My Vinyl Fight figures are all in place, but I'm not very happy with the display. I can't see the figures in the back. This is tough...

Edward The Gator!
Just out! The first version of Bwana's Edward the Gator figure. From the Max Toy Co. website: "From the talented artist Bwana Spoons comes his original character, Edward the Gator. This fantastic figure stands aprox 5.5 inches tall to his hat, and comes with a side bag that opens, a removeable butterfly net. Packed in a colorful box with artwork by Bwana." Look out for many other color versions, the next one being released at Double Punch in San Francisco.

Gambling With Gargamel
Well, not really gambling. We went to the game center tonight and played some coin (token) games. Lots of slot machine type games, and coin drop games. For those who haven't tried these games in Japan, you can't really win anything or trade in your tokens for cash. You just get credit for them and come back and play again later. I don't really see the point, I guess it's kinda fun though...
