Dai Rakugaki Matsuri

Severed For Life

A few pics from today's "Severed For Life" show at Thrash Out. Le Merde did a lot of work for this show, including a good number of resin and soft vinyl figures, new paintings, and prints. Gargamel and Le Merde's collaboration figure "Hujili's Ghost" also made his debut today. The show runs through March 12th so check it out! Check out more pics of the show HERE.

Cometdebris Rokuron

Cometdebris is teaming up with Gargamel to release an exclusive Mini Rokuron figure for Valentine's Day. This exclusive Cometdebris version Mini Rokuron is done in clear with purple, blue, and pink, and bright yellow eyes. Mini Rokuron will be released on February 13th at 8:00 PM PST (February 14th at 1:00 PM Japan Time) for $40.

Sea Shepherd Benefit Customs

We'll be adding a few Cometdebris customs to the Cometdebris Online Store this month to benefit the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. All proceeds from these customs will go directly to Sea Shepherd. Seen above is Killer by Bwana Spoons done in pastel yellow with neon red and black spots. New Stuff In The Online Store!

We've just added a couple of items to the online store from the Thrash Out anniversary event. The Tokoichi Seiju exclusive pictured above features 5 colors on a light yellow vinyl. There's also a Tokoji Seijin, neon pink vinyl with purple, black, and bright yellow eyes. This is a limited edition of two pieces, signed and numbered.

SDCC Tokoichi Seiju

Tokoichi Seiju will makes his debut at the San Diego Comic Con. The Comic Con exclusive version is cast in glow vinyl, 6 colors total, with a neon red eye. Available at the Gargamel booth (number 4739) from Thursday, July 23rd.

Super Puncher

Super Puncher 1994 style super robot monster yokai. This lonely otaku collected too many of the same used condition toy robot. This was unhealthy, so he died and returned as Super Puncher Robot Ghost!

Super Puncher is the newest figure in Gargamel's Pocket Kaiju line. Designed by Sun-Min and David of Uglydolls, Super Puncher will make his debut at Uglycon Tokyo. See my previous post for more info on Uglycon.

Kaiju Monster Invasion

Art Center South Florida and the Harold Golen Gallery present Kaiju Monster Invasion, opening Wednesday, December 3. The event will feature pieces by an impressive list of American and Japanese artists. Kaiju Monster Invasion will take place during Art Basel, at the nearby Harold Golen Gallery in Miami. What you see here is an awesome painting by Mark Nagata with a tentative list of artists involved.
