Dai Rakugaki Matsuri

Coming soon to Super7 San Francisco! Custom figures, paintings, and photographs by Gargamel (Kiyoka and Naoya Ikeda), Chamen, KaToPe, and Cometdebris. Opening reception on the evening of April 3rd. Kiyoka, KaToPe, and Koji will be in attendance. Hope to see you there!

Tokyo to Charlotte

Had the worst flight experience ever the other day. Took a flight from Narita to Washington, DC. That went ok. The flight arrived late so we missed our connection to Charlotte. Waited 7 hours for the next flight to Charlotte, it was delayed an extra hour, and then couldn't even get on. Ended up getting a hotel in DC that United refused to pay for because our late flight was an "air traffic control" problem and not their responsibility. Slept about 4 hours and got the first flight out. So darn tiring. We have 5 more flights on this trip and totally not looking forward to them. Will avoid United in the future, their service sucks.

Bags Are Packed!

Heading out to the USA tomorrow. Will be visiting North Carolina, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. I'll be in San Francisco with Kiyoka and KaToPe for the Dai Rakugaki Matsuri opening at Super7 on April 3rd. Pretty excited! Watch the blog or my Facebook page for updates from my trip and the show.

Severed For Life

A few pics from today's "Severed For Life" show at Thrash Out. Le Merde did a lot of work for this show, including a good number of resin and soft vinyl figures, new paintings, and prints. Gargamel and Le Merde's collaboration figure "Hujili's Ghost" also made his debut today. The show runs through March 12th so check it out! Check out more pics of the show HERE.
